STORY
The sub-block of A9 is one of the oldest developed localities of the modern township of Kalyani. It is blessed with excellent locational advantages in terms of transport (Kalyani Main Railway Station, Kalyani Bus Terminus), medical (Govt. and private hospitals), and market facilities. Since its gradual development, the locality has gained immense popularity by hosting public events like Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Jagadhatri Puja, and various sports events. Besides the picturesque green environment, the A9 sub-sector has a rich human resource as well as a socio-cultural foundation. A perfect amalgamation of residential and commercial establishments coexists here. In 2026 (i.e. 1433-34 Bengali Calendar year), the A9 sub-block is going to celebrate the 55th year of the iconic Durga Puja.
